Invitation Application
Canton Fair has two kinds of Invitation Card for visitors. One is called E-invitation and the other is Paper Invitation Card.

Paper Invitation Card: This is a pass for three people from the same company (according to their visa application) and fair registration. A copied one is invalid. It is sent in the way of mailing.

E-invitation: Also an official invitation extended by the Fair. It can be obtained online. A copied one is valid. With copied ones, it is for many people from a company.

If you hold an Invitation Card, you could:
a. Receive the entry visa to Guangzhou (only Paper Invitation Card valid).
b. Get registered and receive a free entrance pass to the Fair.
c. Receive a set of Directories of Chinese Export Commodities Fair's Exhibitors (one set for each card).

Apply the Invitation Card:
Invitation can be applied to one of the following events; before March 30th (the Spring Fair) and before September 30th (Autumn Fair).

You may need these documents for entry:
1. Copy of Business Registration Certificate of Foreign Company's Representative Office in China
2. Copy of Valid Employee Certificate Issued by China's Administration for Industry and Commerce
3. Copy of Employee's ID card

The latest way for Pakistanis:
This fair only sends invitations to some of regular customers. Others want to attend the fair should submit to Embassy to Pakistan of China or Visa Service Office of Consulate with:

Invitations from international cooperators
Visa Requisition of Unit on Commission by local Foreign Economy and Trade Office of domestic cooperators
Documental proof for the credibility of company by local chamber of commerce
Documental proof for the deposit by local bank
Business introduction and data of purpose to come to China

How to attend Canton Fair?

  1. Overseas visitors and Chinese representatives with foreign companies' representative offices in China should apply for the Invitation Card issued by Canton Fair.
2. Domestic enterprises should apply for the booths of Canton Fair to the local department in charge of foreign trade.

Who is qualified to apply for the Invitation Card?
  1. Visitors with Overseas Passport (H.K./Macau ID Card, Taiwan Compatriot Travel Certificate) or Overseas Residence Permit valid for over one year.
2. Chinese representatives with foreign companies' representative offices.

Why should visitors apply for the Invitation Card?
  Canton Fair invites buyers by two kinds of Invitation, one is called E-invitation and the other is Paper Invitation Card.
With the Invitation, buyers could:
1. Apply for Visa to China.
2. Get registered and free entry badge to the Fair.

How to apply for the Invitation Card?
  1. Visitors may apply for the Invitation Card on line.
2. Visitors may apply for the Invitation Card to the Foreign Liaison Department, China Foreign Trade Centre.
3. Visitors may apply for the Invitation Card to other organizations.

How should Chinese representatives with foreign companies' representative offices in China apply for the Invitation Card?
 

Representatives with Foreign Companies' Representative Offices in China should submit the following details of your representative office in China through Canton fair E-invitation Platform .
a. Copy of Registration Certificate of Foreign Enterprises Permanent Office in China
b. Copy of valid employee certificate issued by local Bureaus of Labour or foreign labour service companies.
c. Copy of Employee's ID Card
*For Local Representatives without CECF Invitation for Foreign Company's Representative Office in China, admission fee and requested documents are requested.


How should local interpreters get registered?
 

Local interpreters should get registered with the following documents.

For the interpreters employed by the visitors or exhibitors
a. Degree certificate of certain foreign language
b. ID Card of the interpreter
c. The company of the employer and his/her signature
d. A photo with the size of 5cm * 4cm
e. Service charge for pass: RMB 300/day/interpreter

For the interpreters recommended by the ISC
a. Admission Note by the ISC with its chop on
b. ID Card of the interpreter
c. A photo with the size of 5cm * 4cm
d. Service Charge for pass: RMB 300/day/interpreter

Being a regular visitor to Canton Fair, I have not received the invitation card for this session. What shall I do?
